About Lucy
Lucy is a sweet gentle girl, with a playful side sometimes grabbing the tug rope to play around with it by herself. She is fully grown, house trained, crate trained and respectful indoors.
She is definitely an inside girl and likes to be included and hang out near her humans. She is okay hanging at home with another doggo for company if you're busy with work etc.
She enjoys going for walks and meeting other dogs, has learnt that the local creek is fun, but isn't ready yet to go out of her depth.
She has a sensitive side and is building her confidence and learning to feel secure again. She uses little licks to check in with you, tell you she needs to go outside and to seek reassurance. This will reduce but won't go away completely. She can be unsure around males and about car rides as she has been car sick. She is working on that with her foster Mum and is making progress.
She is great around cats and children, loves the 4year old that visits her foster Mum.
Lucy is looking for a furever home that has a relaxed and inclusive lifestyle, welcomes her indoors, will encourage her to go past her comfort zone with firm gentle patience, and have another doggo to be her new fur sibling and lead the way.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
