About Lucky Lizzy
Introducing Lizzy!
Lizzy is a Domestic Short Hair born approx 5th April 2025.
Lizzy was brought into the facility in a cardboard box by a member of the public who claimed she had been dumped in the area. This person then left the box on the counter and walked away. Lizzy has clearly been loved by humans, but no one came to claim her. Lizzy cried for the first three days she was in our care, so we believe she had been ripped away from her mum far too early and her crying became too much for whoever took her in. Their loss is our gain, as she's an absolute sweetheart.
Lizzy is incredibly affectionate with everyone she meets, to the point where you can usually hear her purring before you even touch her. She loves having her ears & cheeks scratched and will push her head into your hand as hard as she can.
Lizzy will play with anything & everything (including your hand if you let her), but her all time favourite has been a small pink ping pong ball. As soon as she hears it bounce she drops everything and comes running!
Since being at the facility Lizzy has wanted to play with our other cats & kittens, however they haven't been welcoming to her. We believe she would be suitable to live with other cats, or be the spoilt only "child" at home.
Lizzy will be rehomed to a family who will keep her as an inside cat only.
Lizzy is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
If you think you could be that furever family for Lizzy, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Her adoption fee is $315 & this includes her desexing, first vaccination and lifetime registration. She is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Lizzy is currently located in East Maitland.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
