About Pikit
*In foster care in Darlington, Sydney*
Meet Pikit! This cheeky, pint-sized kitten has a big heart and an eye on the prize: a pawfect family who'll 'pik' her and love her forevermore!
With her joyful kitten energy and inquisitive nature, Pikit is always up for adventure and play - but she also has a wonderfully affectionate side, and is fast learning the delights of a good lap snuggle! She thrives on kindness, patience and lots of gentle nurturing to bring out the full beauty of her sweet personality.
Like all Maggie's pets, Pikit is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be relatively calm and peaceful, and offer a nice balance of play and patience as I continue to blossom and grow. As a small kitten, I'd feel much safer in a home where I'll be kept inside only, or supervised when outside. An enclosure might also be nice for alfresco sunbathing and snoozing!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I adore being the centre of attention, especially during a play session! I'm pretty competitive, so watch out - I play to win :) But once I'm done, I really enjoy my downtime too. Did you know that laps are a lovely warm place to snooze?
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: While I have no experience with kids at this stage, I do have a naturally curious nature - so it's possible that a family home might be a good match, after careful introductions.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: As above, there's every chance that I could live happily with other friendly pets if we're given time and space to get to know each other!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
