Hi, I’m Chunka! I might weigh 46kg, but I’m just a big baby. My favourite game is tug-of-war with my humans and doggy siblings.

Because of my size and strength, I’m best suited to a family with kids over 12, I sometimes forget how big I am and jump up! I’m still learning my manners and need a committed family to help with my training.

I’ve met larger dogs, but I like to be the boss, so I’d do best with a confident dog sibling who won’t let me push them around. I still pull on the lead, so I’ll need a strong handler and might benefit from a check collar for walks.

I adore water, splashing in my bowl or my shell pool is the best! I’m gentle with treats if you remind me, and while I try to sit, I usually flop into a lie-down instead - just one of my quirks.

I am smart so a secure yard is important and I currently enjoy a bit of gardening so walks and others things to occupy me are a must.

I am still a work in progress with my crate training but getting there.
