About Penne
Hi, I'm Penne! š¾
I'm a happy, playful little pup with a big heart and a love for adventure. I get along great with other dogs, both big and small, and Iām also good with catsāI'm not really fazed by their presence at all. Chickens, on the other hand, are definitely not for me. And while I may ignore the cats, Iāll catch and eat mice if I get the chanceāso no small furry friends unless under strict supervision!
I love company and enjoy spending my days outside with my big foster sisters, but Iād also be fine as an only pet as long as Iāve got love and attention. Iāve been sleeping inside in my crate overnight and Iām a perfect girlāno accidents, no whining, just sweet dreams and quiet snuggles. During the day, I can be home alone for a few hours without any trouble (as long as you donāt mind me rearranging the garden a bit).
Now, I do have a bit of a cheeky streakāI love to chew a lot! So Iām going to need plenty of tough chew toys, enrichment activities, and positive training to help me learn whatās okay to nibble (and whatās not). Iām still young and learning, so with the right guidance, Iāll figure it out⦠but donāt be surprised if I try to help you āpruneā your trees or āredecorateā a blanket or two in the meantime.
I'm also learning to walk on the lead and getting better every day.
Iām very gentle, even with my tiny human sister who carries me around! I might be a little shy with new people at first, but I warm up quickly and soon Iām wagging my tail and ready to play.
My favourite things? FOODāany kind! Iām obsessed with bones, love soft toys and bottles, and Iāll happily zoom around with anything I can findāshoes, clothes, sticks, even clumps of grass! I also love rolling in garden mulch (itās a vibe).
Iām learning my basic mannersāI've got āsitā down, Iām starting to āwaitā for my food, and I know my name. Toilet training is still a work in progress since I spend most of my time outside, but Iām trying! I was a well-behaved little lady at the vet and take new things in stride.
Iāve got that perfect puppy energyāplayful one moment, napping the nextāand Iām pretty quiet overall, only making a bit of noise when Iām playing or reminding my sister who's boss. I do need secure fencing to keep me safe, because I love to explore!
If youāre looking for a cheeky, loving companion who will keep you laughing and fill your days with joy, Iām your girl. Letās grow together! š
