- people who will take time to train him so he can become all he can be
- a fenced and secure yard
- easy access to both inside and outside
- another dog is fine but not compulsory
- kids are ok
- regular walks and social stimulation
- someone who is home a lot so he is not left alone for too long, especially while he's still so little
