About Poppy
Meet Poppy!
Stunning grey tabby Poppy has been winning hearts with us since she was just four weeks old, and she's grow into a confident, playful, sweet and very affectionate kitten who’s now ready to be adopted to her forever home. Are look to adopt a cat who will want to be on your side all the time? Well, this could be your lucky day.
Poppy came into the rescue as a 4 week old kitten with some mobility issues on her back legs. She's grown out of those in foster care, and thanks to this experience, sstarted on joint supplements a few years earlier than an average cat would do.
Poppy is always up for two things: cuddles and fun, in that order. Whether she’s pouncing on toys, chasing bottle caps, or inventing her own games, this girl knows how to keep herself entertained. She’d love a home that’s interactive and has a bit of activity going on, but where she can also retreat and enjoy the quiet when it’s time to rest. She does love her snoozes, ideally curled up right next to her humans, even if it's under the desk when someone is working from home.
Poppy's greatest love is human cuddles. She adores pats and takes any chance to be close to her humans. It is very sweet how she nestles in for a nap, especially after a big play session.
She’s been raised around other cats and as she is a social girl, she is looking for a home with a friendly feline friend to keep her company. She would thrive in a household where someone is home more than not, and a feline companion to keep her company when all humans are away. She’s also dog-friendly and gentle with young children, making her a great fit for many family types.
Poppy’s ideal home:
✔️ Must go to a home with another cat
✔️Someone home a lot
✔️ Cat-friendly and dog-friendly
✔️ Great with respectful children of any age
