About Astrid
What’s not to love? Astrid is the total package: irresistibly adorable, full of personality and already turning heads with that signature Mastiff charm.
Astrid may be young, but she is already showing signs of being a gentle girl in the making. Affectionate, playful and curious, she loves cuddles, belly rubs and exploring the world one sniff at a time.
As a mixed breed, Astrid will likely grow up to be just on the big size.
Like all puppies, Asteid is a little sponge soaking up experiences. Early socialisation and positive training are essential to help this sweet pup grow into a well-mannered adult. That includes:
Introducing her to new people, pets, sights and sounds
Teaching basic commands and good manners through reward-based training
Providing structure, patience, and lots of praise
Dogs thrive with confident, calm leadership and the time you invest now will set the foundation for a lifetime of good behaviour and trust.
TO ENQUIRE ABOUT THIS DOG you will need to complete a BARRC Expression of Interest Form. Please submit your request for a form through this site. Remember to check your junk folders for an email from BARRC with the request for application attached.
Adoption details
Our dogs available for adoption are all living in private foster homes and are available for you to meet. By submitting an inquiry, we will email you with a BARRC Expression of Interest Form to complete. Please be patient in waiting upon a reply from our volunteers. The application process usually takes 14 days, please keep an eye on your junk/spam folder in your email if you have not received a reply.
Our adoption fee includes a general health check, flea and worming treatment, vaccination, microchipping and desexing. If the dog is too young for desexing, a voucher is provided for use at a BARRC approved vet clinic. A 14 day adoption trial period is available when adopting an animal from BARRC.
Adoption fees are required to be paid in full before taking the animal on trial.
