Don't let her petite size fool you-Saffron is packed with personality. With striking orange streaks through her coat and a confident, cheeky spirit, this former mama cat is now ready to be the one getting all the love (and wand toys).

Saffron is playful, curious, and always ready for action. Wand toys? Yes, please. Cat tunnels? Her personal racetracks. She zips and zooms like a kitten, then flops beside you with a big purr and a demand for scritches. She might even launch herself onto your back while you're bending down-just to say hi.

She adores attention, though it's got to be on her terms. Once you're in her good books, you'll get endless affection, quirky chats, and plenty of that "tiny queen" charm. She doesn't like being left alone for long and does best with company-human or male feline friends (she prefers to rule the roost when it comes to other girls).

If you're looking for a cat who's bold, cuddly, and wildly entertaining, Saffron is your girl. Just be warned: she might be small, but she takes up a very big space in your heart.

This pet is currently onsite at our Craigieburn shelter (23 Grasslands Avenue, Craigieburn) and ready to find their forever home! Our adoption hours are Tuesday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm, excluding Public Holidays. While we're unable to place holds on animals, you're welcome to visit the shelter during these hours to meet them. We recommend giving us a call on 03 9357 0834 before coming in to confirm the pet is still available for adoption. If it's a match, you could be heading home with your new family member the very same day!
