About Gidget
Meet Gidget, a charming 5-year-old Cavoodle with a quiet yet incredibly sweet demeanor. This gentle girl has a heart full of love to share with the perfect family. She may be a tad shy initially, but give her a bit of time and she will settle comfortably in your lap, basking in the warmth of your affection.
Gidget stands out with her lovely social tendencies toward other dogs and even cats. She's an ideal match for a home with older, quieter children who understand the beauty of gentleness. While she generally thrives in calm environments, Gidget does have a knack for getting startled by loud noises or sudden movements. However, once you've earned her trust, you'll find her to be an affectionate and devoted companion.
Because her short lead training can improve greatly with patience and consistency. Gidget's little heart is always eager to follow you and join your daily walks. With a bit of guidance, Gidget will soon prance beside you with confidence and enthusiasm.
Gidget is simply looking for someone to love unconditionally. If you are seeking a sweet-natured furry friend who is happiest when snuggled up in your lap, Gidget could be the perfect addition to your home and your heart.
Medical notes
Dental scale and clean performed under GA.
Ears plucked and cleaned. Vet has recommended twice weekly cleaning over the next two weeks and then to monitor.
Grade 2/6 heart murmur detected. Monitor for associated clinical signs.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
