About Meeko
A Whisper of Love and a Bundle of Mischief!
Prepare for an abundance of purrs and playful pounces, Meeko is on the lookout for his forever cuddle buddy! This charming little boy boasts a luxuriously soft and fluffy smokey black coat, just begging to be snuggled. This sweet boy lives for love. Meeko absolutely adores being picked up and cradled like a baby, melting into your arms as if he’s always belonged there.
Meeko is a devoted giver and receiver of affection, offering up cozy snuggles, gentle kisses, and a constant soundtrack of happy purrs. During snuggle time, he might even treat you to his soft almost silent meows, his mouth moves, but only the faintest sound emerges. It's his special way of whispering secrets and stories (maybe even a few kitten jokes)
Of course, there's a playful and curious spark in Meeko as well. Just like his namesake, the cheeky raccoon from Pocahontas, this little boy is full of playful energy and endearing mischief. His goofy antics are guaranteed to bring endless smiles. He loves chasing after rolling toys, stalking feather wands with intense focus, and unleashing bursts of adorable kitten zoomies around the house.
And if you're up for a chat, Meeko is your guy! He loves to engage in sweet meow and response conversations. You can meow a greeting, and he'll happily meow back creating a delightful (if slightly one-sided) exchange where the meaning doesn't matter, only the connection.
Meeko is currently thriving on a premium diet of Raw Meow and Ziwi Peak and is comfortably using paper or tofu litter. He is ready to bring his gentle heart, goofy charm, and love of being both cuddled and heard to his forever home.

As we receive a lot of enquiries for our kittens, please include relevant details about yourself and your home/other pets, to be considered. If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest. You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt an animal from DCH.

Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
