A Symphony of Sweetness and Sass!
Prepare to be utterly enchanted by Melody, a kitten whose stunning calico coat is just the beginning of her captivating charm! Just like her namesake (Ariel's daughter from The Little Mermaid 2), Melody has a voice and isn't afraid to use it – in the most adorable way, of course!
This little lady is a delightful blend of sweet contradictions. shy yet friendly, independent but also deeply affectionate. Initially a touch reserved, preferring to observe from a safe distance at first. However, once she decides that you’re worthy of her affection, be prepared to be claimed! She'll melt your heart by curling up on your lap or draping herself across your legs in a show of pure devotion.
Melody is a real lover of comfort, thoroughly enjoying gentle chin scratches and soothing massages. Her ultimate bliss is curling up in a warm lap, where she'll purr with contentment, a tiny, sweet symphony of happiness.
Don’t let her gentle nature fool you, Melody is also playful and energetic! She’s known for her hilarious tail chasing sessions and loves pouncing on anything that rolls or dangles. Whether she’s stalking toys or engaging in sibling shenanigans, she brings a touch of whimsy to every moment. Mealtime is one of her favourite parts of the day, she’ll eagerly “supervise” the preparation, often with a series of adorably bossy meows to hurry things along!
Melody is currently thriving on a premium diet of Raw Meow and Ziwi Peak, and comfortably using paper or tofu litter. She is ready to bring her unique blend of quiet cuddles and lively conversations to her forever home.

As we receive a lot of enquiries for our kittens, please include relevant details about yourself and your home/other pets, to be considered. If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat before you lodge interest. You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt an animal from DCH.

To find out more information about this animal, or to organise a time to see them, please contact our foster carer listed who will take you through the adoption process.
Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
