NOTE: You are unable to meet Khloee until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Khloee in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.


What I need in my new home:
• I am EXTREMELY shy & timid, I will require a special family who will take things nice and slow with me and allow me to settle in my own time. My new family must understand that I will most likely always be a shy girl and be ok with that!
• A home where I am mainly inside
• A doggie companion is a MUST, I LOVE other dogs and am a lot more comfortable in their presence!!
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• A family who promise to keep me well groomed and brush me regularly so I'm always looking and feeling my best
• Lots of love and attention
• A quiet & mature family/household is best for me
• Short regular walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• A family that will love and care for me during my twilight years
• SOCIALISATION is as important for me as it appears I've led a very sheltered life and can be a bit nervous/shy in new situations. Since being at the shelter I'm becoming much braver though. Taking me to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman etc) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will help boost my confidence.

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• No young children due to my shy & timid nature

My best features:
• Gentle & placid
• Food motivated
• I enjoy sitting on your lap and getting cuddles once i get to know you
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I will require full basic training as it appears that i have had no training experience yet
• I am NOT housetrained and this is the reason that I was surrendered
