About Pierre
Are you passionate about cats and wish to adopt a 'rescue cat' and provide him with love, patience and care into the future? Please meet Pierre - the most beautiful, soft brown-tabby cat that you could ever come across. Pierre came from a small colony of under-socialised, neglected cats and over the last several weeks we have been preparing him for his adoption into a loving, mature home.
He has learnt to use cat litter trays, play with toys, meow happily at people and accept gentle body strokes. Pierre's progress has been absolutely outstanding, however he's not quite there as yet and would benefit greatly by being 'the apple of someone's eye' in their home. We would very pleased provide tips to achieve success with Pierre.
DIET/CARE-A diet of high-quality dry biscuits for energy, a couple of daily servings of wet food and fresh, cool water for hydration is recommended. Regular vet visits will be required. A necessary requirement to Pierre's new home is a LAUNCH ROOM. This is an area that has all his essential items e.g. water, food, bedding, toys and litter tray. He is currently afraid of large open spaces.
FRIENDS-Any children in the home would be gentle, understanding teenagers as it's unknown if he has been with young children. If Pierre is helped integrate with an existing cat, it's possible that this would be successful. Dogs are unknown.
INSIDE LIFESTYLE-Pierre must be kept as an inside cat due to his past history and to keep his socialisation progressing. We recommend that he has access to at least TWO large-sized cat scratching posts that can be placed near a window and the lounge area inside the home. Cardboard boxes, warm window-sills and toys will also provide him with amusement. His adoption price includes: A FREE 2kg bag of ROYAL CANIN dry food >His desexing, microchip and vaccinations Adoption Price: $185 If you think Pierre might be the perfect fit for your home, please fill out an adoption application today! www.rspcaqld.org.au/apply-to-adopt
