About Ted - 7 Month Old Dachshund
Introducing cute little Teddy boy.
My name is Ted, I’m a 7 month old (DOB October 2024) black and tan mini Dachshund. I’m a mischievous and confident little man around my humans and 4 legged friends. There’s nothing more I like than having a snack or just being involved in everything you’re doing. Wrestling my older brother and chewing on toys are fun when my human is busy. Putting my harness on and going for adventures is becoming my favourite but the thing I love most is cuddles at night. In just a few weeks I have learnt how to sit, fetch and walk on a lead.
Ted’s Overview
🐾 Enjoys snuggles and playing with all my toys
🐾 Food enthusiast – very food motivated so easy (ish) to train
🐾 Toilet Training ongoing, will need continued training in new home.
🐾 Cautious of new humans, will need further socialisation and positive exposure to fresh faces and new experiences
🐾Not tested on large pets or cats.
🐾 Great with other small dogs, especially Dachshunds once settled.
🐾 Desexed, vaccinated, treated for intestinal worms, fleas and ticks. Lifetime registration
🐾 Travels well in the car and on lead.
To assist with me living my best life and transition well, I require a home with another furry friend and someone who is home more often than not.

Ted is in care in Newcastle area, NSW, and is not available interstate. His adoption fee is $1100 and he is desexed, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
