SCRUFF came to the shelter as an un microchipped stray and was sadly never reclaimed, at first SCRUFF was shut down, terrified and didn't want any human interaction. Little by little the staff here at the shelter gradually gained his trust, SCRUFF is coming out of his shell and the staff here are now able to show him love by giving him head pats and chin scratches but he still has a long way to go, because of this SCRUFF will need a home where someone is willing to give him the time he needs. Patience will be key, it wont take long before he is seeking out affection but it will need to be in SCRUFF'S time and on SCRUFFS terms.

SCRUFF appears to be cat social so having another cat in the home may help SCRUFF adjust quicker but it is not a requirement.

His adoption fee is $215 which includes desexing, microchipping, vaccination, health check, worm and flea treatment and lifetime registration.
