About Sam
Hi, I'm Sam and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.
APPLICATION PROCESS APPLIES FOR SAM
PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW APPLICATION FORM
https://forms.gle/BW5A6qrAS36deB8s5
What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• I like both male and female dogs - but much prefer little dogs around my own size
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must
• Secure Fencing & gates with no holes or gaps I can squeeze through
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• I can be shy at first so I need a family who'll allow me to grow in confidence in my own time
Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard for long periods of time
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
My best features:
• LOVE people, once I get to know you
• Happy to hang out with other dogs
• I can sit on command
• I walk well on lead
ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET SAM BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
Medical notes
A benign lesion was removed from Sam's mouth along with 1 tooth on 8/5/25. Pathology report diagnosis - Inflamed Peripheral Odontogenic Fibroma. These are benign (non cancerous) lesions in the soft tissue of the mouth. These can recur and do not require removal unless causing Sam discomfort. Future vet costs associated with this will be at the owners expense.
