About Barry
***** To apply for Barry please visit our website at www.animalrescue.org.au to complete an Adoption Enquiry Form *****
Meet Barry, a delightful young dog with a gentle and chill demeanor, looking for a loving new family to call his own. After having to say goodbye to his previous life, he's eager to start a new chapter filled with love and companionship. Though he initially arrived with his brother, they are seeking separate homes so they can each flourish.
Barry is a social butterfly who thrives in the company of both humans and canine friends. His welcoming nature makes him a joy to be around, and he's particularly wonderful with children, displaying a natural gentleness that sets him apart. He's fond of interacting with other dogs his size and would love to have a furry companion to share his days with, making him an excellent choice for families who already have a canine buddy or plan to adopt one.
As a recent addition to the world of house-trained pups, Barry is diligently learning the ropes. With some patience, consistency, and the help of belly bands, he is making great strides and will soon be fully trained. Walking Barry is an absolute breeze; he behaves like an angel on the leash, making strolls around the neighborhood a pleasure, even for children.
Barry's ideal family would be one where he isn't left alone for extended periods, as he truly enjoys being surrounded by his loved ones. His laid-back personality is perfect for families or as a companion for a younger retiree who enjoys shared time together.
Completely desexed, microchipped, and C5 vaccinated, Barry is ready to start this next chapter with his new people. If your household is full of warmth and love, and you're looking for a gentle, easygoing canine companion, Barry is more than ready to meet you and bring happiness into your home.
