Meet Roux – Your quiet, quirky companion

Roux is a gentle, independent soul who enjoys observing the world from a cosy spot. She prefers to come to you on her own terms—especially if there’s a gentle chin scratch or ear rub waiting. While she may seem reserved at first, Roux has a sweet, affectionate side that shines through when the house is quiet or you happen to catch her mid-nap for a sneaky cuddle.

Currently living with children aged 6 to 15, Roux has shown she can comfortably share her space with a busy household. She handles the hustle and bustle with quiet grace, often finding a peaceful perch to watch the action from afar until she's ready to join in.

This lovely girl has a flair for the dramatic when it comes to mealtime:she’ll tell you she’s absolutely starving, even if her bowl still has biscuits! Despite her calm and composed nature, Roux has a playful streak and enjoys interactive playtime with her favorite toys.

You’ll often find her snoozing peacefully on your coziest blanket or curled up in the pouch of her cat tower, content and serene.

With her soft beauty, charming quirks, and affectionate moments, Roux will make a wonderful, loyal friend to the right family. She’s ready to find her forever home — could it be with you?

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchip including the transfer of ownership, and sterilisation.

*Kittens may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee. Please enquire for more information.

ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. You will be advised if your chosen kitten is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you prior to this. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
