Paxton

Pleased to introduce you to the sweet playful boy Paxton. A heart full of love and happiness every time he sees you. He always has a happy smile on his face and adores a good belly rub. Paxton is wonderful with his siblings and other dogs he is in care with.

He loves to play with toys and run out the doggie door to explore by himself or follow others out. Enjoying playtime in the sunshine and entertaining himself. Shows independence and curiosity. Has learned to pee on the grass so accidents are very few now.

Paxton would suit a home with people who are happy to have a friend to watch tv with. Kids to run around with to wear him out would be great too, or someone who works from home as he loves to follow his Foster family around to see what they are up to. Full of love ready to share with the right people and begin life together.

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I’d like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I’ve learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I’ll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me “no” if I’m chewing something I shouldn’t and give me a chew toy instead. I’d love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don’t get bored with them.
