About Derek (bonded To Dougie)
Meet Derek, a gentle and handsome 2-year-old male guinea pig with a smooth tan coat and just a hint of white. Derek is a sweet, mellow guy who loves his veggies, cozy hideouts, and, most of all-his best friend, Dougie! These two are a bonded pair and must be adopted together, as they're inseparable buddies who bring out the best in each other. Derek may be the quieter of the duo, but he's always curious and enjoys watching the world from the safety of a snuggly corner (especially when Dougie's nearby). Together, they make the perfect team-bringing double the squeaks, double the cuddles, and double the joy. If you've got space in your heart and home for two charming piggies, Derek and Dougie are ready to fill your life with love, laughs, and lots of lettuce!
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
