On Hold
About Jeff - 11 Year Old Jack Russell (trial 29/5)
Jeff is a senior gentleman, who is still very vibrant and has lots of love to give.
Jeff’s owner passed away, and was reluctantly surrendered by her Husband, due to ongoing treatment of the husband and he was unable to continue to care for Jeff.
Jeff loves being inside, is house trained, and knows how to use a dog door. He is a little timid at first but once warmed up, he is the most loving and giving “kitchen island” that you can have around your house.
He loves going for a daily walk, as well as having a treat of a smacko or dentistick, although would also hoover anything in the kitchen, even though his diet doesn’t allow for that.
Jeff is very much an inside senior, he loves being on his bed in the loungeroom with you, or following you around the house, and he is not intrusive and always walks beside or behind you, but will sneak a spot on a spare lounge at the first chance he gets (We are trying to discourage this at moment). If you are on a property, he is very happy to walk off lead with you, and if in town, will walk happily on the lead.
He is very happy with other pets, hasn’t been tested with birds, but doesn’t harm or annoy our visiting magpies, butcher birds or miners.
He is very timid with children, with sudden movement or if he gets a startle, but settles quickly and will roll over for a good belly pat.
Jeff is in foster care in Branxton, NSW. He is available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $400.00 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
