About Rusty
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- A calm home with lots of love to give this stunning boy
Meet Rusty – The Sweetest Sidekick You Will Ever Need!
Looking for a loyal sidekick to head up your fan club? Fancy a Scooby and Shaggy partnership in real life? Meet Rusty - your new best friend! This gentle boy might take a little time to come out of his shell (especially around the fellas), but once he knows you're safe, he’ll be your biggest fan and trusty companion.
Rusty’s a low-key lad who’d choose couch cuddles over a party any day. He is content to just be by your side most of the time and asks for nothing more than some TLC and ear scratches. He walks beautifully on the lead by your side and is happy to be led around. He mostly minds his own business around other dogs and has happily lived with a foster buddy before.
Rusty has the makings of a watch dog - he has a bit of a “stranger danger” bark when someone walks past the house – but we’re working on letting him know the postie isn’t a threat. He isn't sure about little humans - Rusty says he would prefer a quiet home please!
Rusty would love a calm home where he can build trust at his own pace – especially with any men in the household. But with a little patience and a lot of love, this shy guy turns into the most affectionate, loyal companion you could ask for.
Could Rusty be your new BFF?
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
