About Lyric
Meet LYRIC, a delightful Kelpie cross puppy whose gentle nature and captivating blue eyes are sure to steal your heart. This charming little girl is one of a litter surrendered to Friends of the Pound, and she’s now ready to bring her love and affection to a new family.
Lyric would thrive in a tranquil family home with a yard where she can play and explore - her stunning white coat means she will need access to a shady space to keep her protected from the sun.
Lyric's soft, quiet nature makes her an ideal companion for those seeking a loving and calm presence in their lives. Her love for affection promises to make every day a joy as she bonds with her new family.
If you believe that Lyric could be the perfect addition to your family, we'd be delighted for you to meet her. To arrange a visit, please get in touch with our Shelter Manager, Yvette, on 0421 831 128.

Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on a cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten, and 15-20 years for a puppy.
