Anubis and Georgie

Meet Anubis and Georgie - a refined gentleman and his fluffy cloud of a best friend!

Anubis is a six-year-old British Shorthair with impeccable manners. He’s so posh it’s adorable (it will make more sense once you meet him!). He politely requests attention with a gentle paw on your hand and a look, and he loves human company - but he’s a 'next to you (as close as possible), but not on you' kind of guy. Playful and sprightly, he's often found dramatically flopped on his back in the most ridiculous positions that make him look completely out cold - it’s his signature move! And though he always looks grumpy or like he’s plotting something naughty, it’s all part of his gentlemanly charm :)

Two-year-old Georgie brings his own comedy, sliding along the tiles with his giant tufted feet and making everyone laugh. He’s quirky, and a little slow (but in a cute way) and he LOVES lap cuddles (but only when he feels like it!). His absolute favourite thing? Butt rubs. These are non-negotiable. Georgie is not so keen on the playing aspects of cat life - he's definitely more lounge lizard than lion, despite his stunning mane - but with a little encouragement he does sometimes get involved. We love his lazy butt!

Anubis and Georgie are a bonded duo who spend virtually every second together like the besties they are. They're super affectionate and will literally groom you as if you're one of them! At bedtime, both boys climb into bed - Anubis curling up respectfully nearby, while Georgie flops right on top of you :)

Like all Maggie's pets, Anubis and Georgie are microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

OUR IDEAL HOME: We'll thrive in a calm, loving environment where we can receive plenty of attention and affection. A strictly indoors-only home is essential, with lots of cosy spots for lounging please!

Georgie will need regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best, and Anubis will sometimes need his own space where he can relax unbothered in peace and privacy.

OUR ENERGY LEVEL: Moderate, really! Anubis enjoys playful moments but also values his relaxation time. Georgie is more laid-back, preferring leisurely activities and cuddles over fun and games.

OUR SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: A household with kind older children (ideally 7+) who can understand our boundaries and engage with us gently sounds lovely.

OUR SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: We lived with a dog and another cat in our previous home, but we did not like living with the dog. We could get on with another cat if introduced properly with patience.
If we're to be your only pets, we'd be purrfectly happy with that!
