About Todd
Introducing Todd AKA Bat Cat!
Todd is a Domestic Short Hair born approx 25th November 2024.
Todd was brought into the facility with his injured mum and 3 siblings. Unfortunately he wasn't microchipped and no owner came looking for them.
Since being at the facility, Todd has been a little reserved around new people, however he adores playing with other cats & kittens which has helped him feel more comfortable around humans and letting his cheeky personality shine. While Todd could learn to live as an only cat, we feel he would be more comfortable having another feline friend/s at home.
Todd is an incredibly playful boy. He loves all kinds of toys including wands, stuffed mice & running through tunnels, however his favourite is playing cat games on an iPad.
Todd LOVES his treats (especially liquid treats) and this has helped us in gaining his trust & teaching him that humans aren't so bad to be around.
Todd can still be timid when meeting new people, but he doesn't take long to warm up to you. He is still getting used to being held/carried, but he is quite tolerant if held in small doses, however Todd will still need a patient owner who is willing to continue with his socialising. Because of this we are recommending a home with no small children as they may be a bit overwhelming for him.
Todd will be rehomed to a family who will keep him as an inside cat only.
Todd is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
If you think you could be that furever family for Todd, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
His adoption fee is $315 & this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. He is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Todd is currently located in East Maitland.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
