Tammy

Tammy has a heart just as big as her ears! She’s a curious pup and a big sweetie who loves affection.

Tammy is still learning about the world and is a little nervous around new people, new places and can be startled by sudden loud noises. She settled into her foster home quite quickly though and with some pets and treats, her confidence grows with new people.

Tammy gets along fine with her foster family’s own dog. She doesn’t interact with him much but can get uncomfortable if he tries to play with her. Although Tammy herself is quite playful she may prefer a dog that is more chilled out if she were to live with one.

Tammy was not happy about being put to bed in the laundry on her first night with her foster family. She spent the next few nights sleeping in our own bed where she would curl up and sleep the whole night without a sound or even movement. Tammy has now been sleeping outside and has been doing great!

Tammy’s house training is still a work in progress. She is making a little progress with puppy pads when inside but will need more training with this and someone willing to take her outside regularly.

Tammy would be a great companion for someone looking for an active dog to form a strong and close bond with and who will continue to build her confidence and socialise her.
