About Dougie (bonded To Derek)
Introducing Dougie, a lively and lovable 2-year-old male guinea pig with a striking black and white coat and a big personality to match! Dougie is the more outgoing half of his bonded pair with Derek, often leading the way when it's time to explore or squeak for snacks. He's playful, social, and always curious about what's going on around him-especially if it involves food or attention. Dougie balances perfectly with Derek's mellow nature, and together they make an adorable, heartwarming duo. Whether they're snuggled up side by side or racing around during floor time, Dougie and Derek are always happiest together. If you're ready to welcome a pair of best friends into your life, these two are sure to bring endless joy, companionship, and a whole lot of squeaky fun.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
