Get ready for a joy-explosion - Meet Bear.
This 11-month-old Kelpie cross is a wiggle-fueled dynamo on four paws, and he's ready to become your new best friend.
While he may be a little short on tail, what Bear lacks in wagging appendages, he makes up for with incredible full-body wiggles that start at his shoulders and travel all the way down. Get ready for some serious butt-jiggle greetings – this boy is pure happiness!
Currently enjoying life on acreage in Cooriobah, Bear is a cuddle connoisseur who adores ear rubs, belly scratches, and a good chest scratch.
He's a velvet-pawed sweetheart with a gentle soul, always seeking proximity and a warm lap (or at least a generous portion of the couch).
Bear is also an adventure seeker – he loves to be out and about and just loves the beach.
He loves to zoom around the yard and is just mastering the art of fetch.
His social skills are top-notch – he's fantastic with dogs, kids, cats, and even horses!
This pup is a true social butterfly.
He's a smart cookie, making excellent progress with house training and eager to learn new things.
While he's still building his confidence and prefers to keep his humans in sight, his love and loyalty are boundless.
Bear thrives on being part of the family action and might even "borrow" a sock or two as a sign of affection.
He'd do best with a canine companion in his forever home and is looking for a place where crates aren't necessary.
Ideal Home: An active home that embraces acreage living, offers plenty of love and attention, and can channel his intelligence with fun training.
A resident doggo is a must!

At Village Tails, we strive to make the adoption process as seamless as possible. We understand that bringing a new pet into your home is a big decision that will enrich your life in countless ways. That’s why we’ve developed a clear, step-by-step guide to help you find your perfect match and provide a loving home for one of our precious animals. Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way, from your initial interest to the joyful day you bring your new friend home.
How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
