About Delilah
Introducing Delilah!
Delilah is a Domestic Short Hair born approx 25th November 2024.
Delilah was brought into the facility with her injured mum and 3 siblings. Unfortunately she wasn't microchipped and no owner came looking for them.
Since being at the facility, Delilah has been one of the quieter of her siblings. She was very timid when she first came to us, but as she's gained more confidence her beautiful personality is starting to really shine through. She has been introduced to other kittens at the facility & she has enjoyed playing with them all.
Delilah is an incredibly playful girl. She loves all kinds of toys including tunnels, feathers & wand toys, however we've found that her favourite are very small felt balls. While she enjoys playing with the other kittens, she's also quite happy to play by herself. For this reason we feel she would be happy being either an only "child" or having other feline siblings.
While Delilah isn't overly treat focused, her favourite treats are chicken & fish.
Now that Adler & Delilah are the only cats left in their enclosure, we have seen their bond grow dramatically. Adler finds comfort while in her company, often rubbing up against her & booping heads. We would love for this pair to be adopted together, however we understand this isn't always possible. To help aid in rehoming these two as a bonded pair, we are offering a discounted adoption fee of $100 each, instead of our usual $315 each, which is a saving of $430.
Delilah can still be timid when meeting new people, but she doesn't take long to warm up to you. She is still getting used to being held/carried, but she is quite tolerant if held in small doses, however she will still need a patient owner who is willing to continue with her socialising. Because of this we are recommending a home with no small children as they may be a bit overwhelming for her.
Delilah will be rehomed to a family who will keep her as an inside cat only.
Delilah is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
If you think you could be that furever family for Delilah, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Their adoption fee is $200 & this includes desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. She is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Delilah is currently located in East Maitland.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
