About Luke
Meet Luke, a super cute boy with unique features that make him truly special! Luke has soulful eyes highlighted by his captivating "eye-liner" markings, and a charming heart-shaped marking on his nose.
Luke was one of 6 adorable Kelpie cross pups that found their way to Friends of the Pound, where they have been given the care and attention they deserve to grow and thrive.
Now, Luke is looking for a family to call his own — one that can provide him a safe loving home with a shady yard where he can play and explore without worrying about burning his fair skin.
To meet this delightful boy and discover the joy he will bring into your life, please contact our Shelter Manager, Yvette, at 0421 831 128. She will be happy to arrange a time for you to visit the shelter and get to know this cute lovable pup.

Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on a cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten, and 15-20 years for a puppy.
