About Marsha
Meet Marsha – a petite and adorable young cat with a heart full of potential. While she may be shy when you first meet her, with patience and kindness, she transforms into a playful, affectionate burst of orange energy.
Watching her slowly emerge from her shell is a truly rewarding experience. Marsha has an adorable croaky little meow and shows her boldest side when it’s mealtime. She’s not fussy with food, and she’s neat and tidy with her litter habits.
Now that she’s done raising kittens, it’s Marsha’s time to enjoy her own belated kittenhood. Her favourite toy is a little companion named Jan (see video!), and laser pointer playtime is absolute chaos—in the best way. It’s a great way to help her get her zoomies out before bedtime.
These days, Marsha is discovering all the little comforts life has to offer. She enjoys napping on the bed, quiet couch time, and is slowly learning that not all hands are scary. She loves pats, but can still get a bit overwhelmed, so her future family should be confident reading cat body language and willing to go at her pace.
Marsha doesn't need a large home, but she will need a space for red dot adventures and a window with interesting things to watch (especially birds!). She isn’t very keen to go outside; an indoor life is a safe life.
Once settled in her new home, she’s content being left alone during the day while her humans are at work. She’ll need at least two 30 minute sessions of company each day; whether it’s playtime, pats, or a bit of both.
Marsha’s story
Life didn’t start easy for her. She came from a property with around 50 cats, where she received very little care. Just a kitten herself, she was trapped by a rescue organisation, and two weeks later gave birth to her litter in foster care. She was fiercely protective of her kittens, especially around other cats in her first foster home.
Happily, all of her kittens have been adopted. Now, in a foster home as a solo cat, Marsha is thriving — gaining confidence and discovering that life can be safe, warm, and calm. Now it’s her turn to find her perfect forever home - is it with you?
