Blizzard

Gorgeous Blizzard came to us in obvious distress, lactating with no kittens in sight. She was clearly heartbroken and overwhelmed but was doing her best to cope in her situation.

Though Blizzard was frightened and overwhelmed in care, she was never mean, choosing to cry and hide instead of lashing out. Due to her signs of stress and sadness in the shelter, Blizzard was placed into foster care with a very dedicated, loving foster carer who has been making remarkable progress with sweet Blizzard.

For the first time since knowing Blizzard, Blizzard made her first batch of cookies on her bed in her foster home and accepted (and enjoyed!) gentle ear rubs and chin scratches.

With dedicated time, love and patience, Blizzard has started to come out of her shell and show off her fun-loving personality! Blizzard loves to bat and catch her wand toys and pounce on her scratching tree!

Blizzard doesn't seem too bothered by other cats so she may be open to sharing her forever home with a feline friend to hang out and play with as long as a cat-friendly introduction is followed.

This gorgeous feline is looking for an indoor only home to keep her safe and warm as well as protect her from the harsh weather considering her fair features being vulnerable in sunlight.

She will need an understanding owner prepared to give her the time and love to continue to build her confidence and help her out of her shell.
