Meet Phoenix β a sweet, goofy boy whoβs in URGENT need of a new home. Heβs currently clashing with his sister, and the fights are escalating. Sadly, sometimes littermate syndrome causes dogs to fight, and for everyoneβs safety, we must rehome him ASAP.
Phoenix is a fun loving, quirky boy who adores his humans and wants nothing more than to be by your side. He thrives on companionship, routine, and affection, and is best suited to a home where someone is around most of the time - he's not a dog who copes with being left alone all day.
Some of Phoenixβs adorable quirks:
πΎ Loves tug of war, water pool, beach, hose β even your shower!
πΎ Obsessed with the hairdryer β heβll lie on your feet and patiently wait his turn
πΎ Bread thief β heβll help himself to a whole loaf and leave the bag for you
πΎ Crate trained & knows basic commands sit, come, stay, stop
πΎ Will gently lift a paw to say βthank youβ at mealtime
πΎ Loves the car, not a digger or escape artist
Walks okay on leash, still scared of unfamiliar things. Excitable with people he knows, shy and cautious around strangers β he needs to approach on his terms.
Phoenixβs Ideal Home:
- No other pets β he needs to be your one and only - although he is fine meeting other dogs on walks
- Adults only - he's too nervous for kids
- Someone home most of the time
- Secure large yard
- Confident, experienced owner who can offer structure & boundaries and make him feel safe
- Must be included as part of the family
Phoenix is loyal, loving and very food motivated β making training easy. He just needs the right home to help him thrive.
