About Athena
Meet Athena, a lovely Mastiff mix who is as elegant as her name suggests. While her exact breed is a mystery, her heart is as big as her personality. With velvet-soft ears that are simply irresistible, Athena is bound to win your heart the moment you meet her.
At 2.5 years old, Athena is at a wonderful stage in her life, where she's eager to build a bond with her new family. She's a huge fan of going for walks and relishes every moment spent exploring the world by your side. After a good wander, Athena transforms into a cuddle bug, basking in shared quiet moments and affection. Her health is in tip-top shape, proudly heartworm-negative and ready to join you on endless adventures and cozy nights in.
An ideal match for Athena would be an active household that appreciates both outdoor activities and relaxed evenings. While she hasn't been tested with cats, her curiosity and gentle demeanor suggest she might fit well into a family with other animals after proper introductions.
Athena will be available for adoption starting May 15th, 2025. If you're searching for a loving, loyal companion who is sure to enrich your days with warmth and companionship, Athena might just be the perfect addition to your family.

Adoption details
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the Promising Paws Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal.
We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home or in a public place. If you have other animals they should please be at the meet.
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
*Same gender adoptions will not be considered. Same sex aggression is something at Promising Paws we will avoid. *
