MY PROFILE:

Meet Howie- the best kitten you could hope for!🐾

Howie and his siblings were found at a rural tip and luckily were saved from being crushed by some kind humans.

Despite their precarious beginnings, these kittens have proven to be the most delightful that their foster parents have ever had the pleasure of looking after (but don't tell the others!).

From the time he was tiny Howie was a snuggly buddy and frankly, a bit of a sook!

He truly is delighful...playful, intelligent, confident, cuddly and fun. He is quite needy and doesn't like being alone!

He's a gorgeous boy, with a somewhat fluffy but easy to maintain dark tabby coat.

Howie would really prefer another animal sibling (another young friendly cat would be ideal) and/or a home with people home most of the time as he is incredibly people-oriented.

Howie is also fairly comfortable with the resident canine so would be great with a friendly doggo sibling. He'd also be fine with respectful older children.

We can't really express just how amazing Howie is...after play time is done he will settle into foster mum's lap or snuggle in for a snooze on her shoulder.

Howie is a very special little boy.

As of 1st August 2025, our adoption fees will be adjusted to help cover rising vet and care costs. The new fees are as follows:

Kittens (1 vaccination): $400
Kittens (2 vaccinations): $450
Adult & Adolescent Cats (9+ months): $280
Breed cats will be listed with a separate adoption fee based on their individual profile.

Change of ownership is included in the adoption fee.

Thank you for your ongoing support in helping us care for and rehome the many cats and kittens that come through our rescue.

All 2nd Chance Cat Rescue cats are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and come with a take home pack. We transfer the change of Ownership free of charge into your name.
