On Hold
About Paddy - 10 Week Old Cattle Dog X
Little Paddy may be the smallest in his litter, but his personality is anything but. He is a charismatic, inquisitive, and confident little pup. He spends his days wrestling with his sister, trying to charm the resident dog and cuddling with his people. He loves head massages just as much as he loves chasing after a ball.
Paddy is making good progress with his toilet training. He sleeps in a crate with his sister overnight and lets you know if he needs to go out to the toilet.
Because Paddy is still young, he will need to go to a home where someone is home more often than not, to ensure that he gets the love, enrichment and meals he needs to grow up to be happy and healthy.
He would love to go to a home with another, friendly dog, but the main thing is that he is included in the household activities, both inside and outside. He gets FOMO when he can't be involved.
Paddy loves his food, which will be helpful for his ongoing training. He is an adaptable and happy little guy who will suit a range of households.
Paddy's siblings Petal, Oreo, Obi and Dobbie will also be available for adoption through Dog Rescue Newcastle.
Paddy's adoption fee is $800 which includes desexing when he is 6 months old. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Paddy is in foster care in Wallsend, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he's 5 to 6 months old. However, after this period Paddy will be available for both local and interstate adoptions.
