About Rumi
Meet Rumi!
Named after the poet, Rumi is a beautiful medium to long-haired tabby queen with a gentle, soulful spirit. She’s one of the more sensitive kittens in her litter — a little skittish around loud noises and sudden movements — so she would be best suited to a quieter home, ideally without young children. (Teenagers or a calm adult household would be a perfect match!)
Once Rumi feels safe, which usually doesn’t take long with cuddles, food, and play, her affectionate side shines through. She adores lap time, soft petting, and gentle attention, becoming a sweet little love bug who seeks out companionship, often with her adorable little meow. Rumi doesn't like being left alone for long and will call out for company.
She draws a lot of comfort from her littermates, often looking to them to assess whether a new toy or situation is safe, so a home where someone works from home, retired or a couple who can give her plenty of attention, would be ideal. If there are dogs or other pets in the home, she may just need a little extra time and patience to adjust without her siblings around.
With her silky coat, tender sensitive heart, and loving nature, Rumi will reward the right family with endless affection and loyalty.
