About Winston - now at Thornton PET Quarters
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Winston has been an absolute pleasure to care for. I looked after him for about 2 weeks before he went to Pet Quarters and he has been the most friendly and relaxed cat I have ever seen. He yearns for human affection and rubs against the cage door before you have a chance to open it to get to you. He loves a good pat and is perfectly comfortable being picked up and held. I have not had the chance to try him out as a lap cat but I would not be surprised if he would be comfortable curled up in your lap.
He is stunningly beautiful and very easy going. He does not try to run away when presented with the opportunity. And he gets on well with my cats and my large dog.
Winston is going to make someone very, very happy. All he needs is love and attention and he will be yours forever.

Winston is so relaxed and gets along with everyone so well that he would suit any home
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Winston has interacted with my adult Labrador dog and my own cats and has been very friendly with them. Also sees my chicken from his cage and is fine with it. He has not got a mean bone in his body.

Adoption details
Applicants will be required to complete and submit an Adoption form from https://www.hunteranimalrescue.com.au
HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1- Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2- If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3- If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
