About JJ
Meet JJ, an adorable boy and a joyful Staffy mix who was born in April 2021. With his bright spirit and endearing personality, JJ is ready to become a cherished family member. His infectious joy and welcoming nature make him an ideal companion for those who appreciate a friendly, interactive dog with a heart full of affection.
JJ is happiest when he's around people, greeting everyone with wagging excitement and an irresistible charm. Although he enjoys socializing with canine buddies, he's more interested in human company and is content as either the only dog or with an easygoing canine friend. He's shown some friendly curiosity towards cats but tends to lose interest, making it feasible to introduce him to a dog-tolerant feline resident.
An active household would suit JJ best, where he can engage in regular exercise and continue honing his skills. He's confident and loves to explore his environment, embracing every opportunity for adventure. Despite being a strong boy on the lead, JJ responds well to gentle correction, and with consistent walking, he'll become a fantastic companion on your outdoor adventures.
JJ's new family should have some prior dog experience to maintain his training, as he knows basic commands but will thrive with ongoing guidance. A non-fussy eater, he takes treats gently from your hand, showing his sweet and trusting nature.
All JJ needs is a committed family ready to provide a loving, active home, where he can explore, learn, and delight in the company of those who share his love for life's simple joys.
JJ is located at our Charmhaven Shelter. His $500 adoption fee covers microchipping, desexing, lifetime registration, current vaccination, flea and worming treatments 🐾
