Meet Alby!

Alby is a sweet, intelligent young pup who’s full of potential and ready to find a home that will help him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. He’s great with kids, though his excitable nature means he’d be best suited to a home with older children rather than toddlers—for now. With consistent guidance, this can absolutely be trained.

He’s been fantastic with other dogs of all sizes, having spent time with both large and small breeds with no issues. Alby thrives with company and would do best with someone who’s home often or keen to spend quality time with him. He seeks gentle human contact and will gaze into your eyes, looking for reassurance and connection.

Alby lives for belly rubs—and he especially loves when you pat his little wiggly butt like you’re burping a baby. It’s his absolute favorite thing!

Smart and eager to learn, Alby mastered the doggie door on day one. Toilet training is going really well, and he’s nearly at the stage where he takes himself outside. He’s learning to sit, stay, and take treats gently, and he responds incredibly well to positive reinforcement.

He is highly food motivated, which makes training a breeze. The only thing to watch is his tendency to gobble his meals and try to sneak bites from other dogs—he’s currently being fed separately and supervised, and this is something that can definitely be worked on over time.

Alby walks beautifully on the lead so far, but he’s still just a baby and learning the ropes.
