About Henry
Well, hi, how are you going?
My name is Henry and I am a 1 year and 4-month-old Moodle (a Maltese x Toy Poodle)
I came into care from a private surrender.
I have been a member of the FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) Club, but the rescue has been working with me to overcome this. Each day they say I'm doing better and understanding that whilst I am very loved, I don't need to be included in everything with my family. But in saying that if you're wanting a guy like that - that's me.
I love to follow my humans around when they are in the house and outside and will be the best companion but if you do have to go out while I can be home without you, I may carry on for a small minute when you leave.
My foster mum used to use words like FOMO, dramatic, attention seeker, but now she says words like good boy Henry and well done and yep see I told you that no ninjas would attack me while you were in one room and I was in the other.
My foster mum said that I've now joined another club called the best little cuddler club - she reckons mine are pretty good!
The rescue has made sure all my vet work is completed whilst I'm in care
I am toilet trained but may have an accident or two when i first arrive at my new home - sorry about that!
I am very lead friendly but have been known to happily launch at another dog to say hi (tail wagging and nose twitching). I love to go when my foster family when they go fishing for the day or on picnics.
I currently live with other dogs of all sizes, ages and personalities and I love to play with other dogs who also love to play, but also my foster mum says that I could be an only dog but would need to keep up with my socialisation with other dogs.
I am must more interested in humans and cuddles then other dogs.
If I have a dog friend from time to time I need to be reminded to share.
I would love a home where there is someone home either working, shift work, retired, relaxing or home schooling - I would happily keep you company!
My foster mum says I would thrive in a home where I'm the center of attention, with a family who's always around to give me love and snuggles.
I do love to have a cuddle on the couch and happily will be big or little spoon. I also love to snuggle on the bed at night with my humans.
I do have a coat of curls (my foster mum says girls would pay good money for - I don't know about that all I know is they are white curls and beautiful and then when I get wet, they go even curlier!! But I do need regular grooms.
If you're looking for an ongoing recovering FOMO friend with the best cuddles, then apply for me!!

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
