Meet Poh - Our Sweetest Long-Term Resident!

Introducing Poh, one of the most gentle and loving souls you'll ever meet. He's been with us since March after some much needed respite and some time in foster care. Through all of this, he has shown nothing but resilience and affection despite a rough start to life.

Poh arrived at the shelter as a stray in very poor condition. But thanks to the dedicated care from the team at LDH, he's now a healthy, friendly young man with so much love to give. During his time in foster care, he absolutely thrived in the home environment and proved just how ready he is to be part of a family.

Poh is the definition of a lap cat - he adores snuggling up beside you for hours or curling up in your arms. He loves being involved in whatever you're doing, especially from his favourite spot up high on a cat tree where he can keep a watchful eye over his people. His playful side shines through with toys and scratching posts, which help keep him active and engaged.

As Poh is FIV+, he'll need to be indoors to stay safe and healthy. He's more than happy with that arrangement though, as long as he has people to love, a cozy spot to nap, and some fun things to keep him entertained. He can also live with other FIV+ cats.
