About Bridgette
💗 Meet Bridgette – The Sweetest Shadow You’ll Ever Have 💗
Bridgette isn’t just a cat — she’s a little heartbeat at your feet. Every day when her foster carer comes home, there she is, waiting at the door with soft meows and happy leg rubs, ready to welcome them like they’ve been gone forever. She’s the kind of cat who makes coming home feel like coming home.
She’s a true people-cat, offering love to everyone who visits — no hesitation, just pure warmth and affection. Whether she’s curling up on the couch next to you or quietly following you around the house, Bridgette just wants to be where you are. She’s not clingy — just quietly devoted, always nearby, always loving.
But Bridgette’s story is one of incredible strength. Discarded by her family after giving birth to 7 kittens, only 2 of them survived. And as if that wasn’t enough heartache, Bridgette took on 2 orphaned kittens as if they were her own, nursing and caring for them like the loving mother she is. Those two orphans have since been adopted, and now Bridgette is ready to find the loving home she so richly deserves.
She is best suited to be the only animal in the home, where she can enjoy all the attention and love she so deeply craves. Behind those big eyes is a little sadness too. Bridgette’s been waiting patiently for someone to choose her. She doesn’t ask for much — just a safe space, a lap to snuggle in, and someone who won’t leave. She has so much love to give… she’s just waiting for her special person to give it to.
Could that person be you?

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process
Initial Contact & Questionnaire
We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
Video Tour
We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer
Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home
In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet! Adoption paperwork will follow.
Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation
Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
