About Bamboo
*Must be rehomed with another dog in the home*
Bamboo is a sweet and sensitive soul with a funny little habit-he loves watching TV! If there's an animal on the screen, you can bet Bamboo will be up close, wagging and sniffing, trying to make a new friend. It's one of his favourite pastimes when he's not curled up for a nap or sunbaking in the yard.
He's a gentle boy who prefers the quiet life, spending most of his day snoozing on the lounge or relaxing in his crate-his safe haven when the world feels a bit much. Bamboo isn't the kind of dog who'll bound up for attention straight away. He takes his time getting to know you, but once he trusts you, he'll melt for a shoulder pat or a soft stroke on his ears and head.
Bamboo will need a calm, patient home with someone who understands that his confidence will take time to build. He'll need reassurance, gentle encouragement, and someone who won't take it personally if he needs space. He's making progress every day and does best when treated with kindness, consistency, and soft words.
He gets along well with other dogs and must be rehomed with a friendly, confident canine companion to help him feel secure and bring out his best self. He'd also do best as an indoor dog, where he can feel safe, included, and part of the family at his own pace.
He's not the loudest or boldest, but Bamboo has a quiet way about him that makes you feel calm and seen. With a little time and care, he'll give you his whole heart.
Note: This dog is currently being cared for in a home and when adopted, it will free up a spot to help another dog.
