Meet Jasper – Your Future Couch Buddy with a Built-In Purr Machine

Jasper might be shy at first, but don’t let that fool you – underneath his cautious exterior is a cuddly little sweetheart just waiting to claim a spot in your heart (and preferably on your lap).

At around 9 months old, Jasper has been in foster care alongside his brother Jethro for over four months now, patiently waiting for someone to notice his quiet charm. While he’s not keen on strangers or sudden noises (vacuum? no thanks), Jasper is much more of a snuggler than his brother. Once he feels safe, he’ll happily curl up on your lap, between your feet, or even on top of you – especially when he senses you’re awake and in need of morning cuddles.

He’s a total purr machine, switching it on the moment he settles in for a cuddle – and trust us, it’s impossible not to feel special when Jasper chooses you as his safe spot.

But don’t let all this talk of naps fool you – Jasper has serious kitten energy. He loves zoomies, wrestling matches with his brother, and most of all, chasing his sworn enemy: the elusive red laser dot. He takes playtime very seriously.

What Jasper needs is a calm, patient home where he can come out of his shell at his own pace. He’s not a fan of being picked up (he likes affection strictly on his terms – as any respectable cat does), but he’s gentle and affectionate once he knows he’s safe. Young children could be okay too, as long as they understand he’s more of a "next to you" cat than a "scoop me up" cat.

Every morning, Jasper wakes up curled up beside his foster carer – and then immediately seeks cuddles once he knows she’s awake. He’s an affectionate little shadow who just needs time to feel secure.
