About Mowe
Mowe, a White Manx/Torti, is a gentle and sweet-natured female cat who embodies the true essence of a companion. Her shy disposition adds an endearing charm that warms up gradually with love and patience. Mowe is the ideal friend for someone seeking a quiet, serene household environment—without the bustling noise of young children or other pets.
Showering Mowe with kindness and security will help her blossom into a loyal and devoted companion, providing warmth and friendship. Rescued by Friends of the Pound from a 'Kill Shelter', she has overcome her earlier challenges with resilience, and now she is looking forward to the loving home she truly deserves.
If Mowe's affectionate yet reserved nature resonates with you, she may just be the companion you've been searching for. If you would like to meet Mowe, she is currently located at U17/39-41 Corporation Circuit, Tweed Heads South. If you're ready to welcome this lovely girl into your life, please complete the online adoption expression of interest at https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/.
Give Mowe the loving family she's been waiting for, and let her sweet presence bring warmth and comfort into your life.

Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on a cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten, and 15-20 years for a puppy.
