NOTE: You are unable to meet Rolo until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Rolo in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

I’m a social, energetic boy who thrives on companionship and connection. I love walks, trips to the park or beach, and playtime in the yard. I’d be happiest with another doggie friend to keep me company when you’re not home, or a family that’s home most of the time. I get a bit lonely on my own, which can make me bark or chew things.

I’ve lived with young kids before and I’m always gentle with them. I get along well with friendly male and female dogs and could live with a dog-friendly cat, as long as we’re introduced slowly. I’m housetrained, crate trained, and highly food motivated; snacks are my love language!

Because I’m still young and full of energy, I’ll need an active family who’ll keep me busy, continue my training, and help me channel my excitement in positive ways. I can be a little nippy when I’m overexcited (only with adults), so I’ll need patient humans to show me better ways to say “hi!”.

My favourite things include cuddles, belly rubs, toys, and learning new tricks. I’m clever, curious, and always up for an adventure. Whether it’s doggy daycare, a beach run, or movie night on the couch, I’ll be right there beside you.

I’ll need a secure backyard (6ft Colourbond or equivalent), plenty of love, and a family who’ll let me live indoors with them.
