Blue

Over a year. Waiting, hoping, never letting things get him down.

Blue is only 2 years old but he has already known more heartbreak than any dog should have to endure.

Blue came to us at around 9 months old. He was adopted but unfortunately, things didn’t go as any of us would have hoped.

The first we knew of anything changing was a phone call, telling us that Blue was sitting in a pound, 5 hours away! Fortunately, his adopters had been too lazy to bother changing his microchip details and he was still chipped to me.
We quickly organised to bring Blue back into our care, fully expecting him to be snapped up again quickly.

Blue is an awesome boy. He is active and fun and energetic. Blue gets along well with other dogs and although we were told that he was no good with chickens, his current foster carers have chooks and he has been fine with them.

Blue loves kids. He will even jump up on the trampoline with them!

He’s a very adaptable boy, very obedient. He sits, shakes and comes when called. He loves the farm life and hanging with the chooks, playing with the kids and my other dog. He’s good on the leash. He loves a car drive and is great in the car. He’s always super-duper happy and energetic.
