About Twiggy
Meet Twiggy
At three years old, Twiggy is rediscovering her inner kitten now that her sons Bruno and Juno have flown the nest. This gentle conversationalist has blossomed from a shy, nurturing mama into a playful, affectionate companion who brings the perfect blend of independence and loving companionship to any home.
Twiggy is delightfully vocal – her repertoire of chirps, trills, and meows feels like having genuine conversations, and she's absolutely convinced you understand every word she's saying. During quiet afternoons while you're at work, she's perfectly content entertaining herself with toys, but when you return home, prepare for an enthusiastic welcome filled with her melodious commentary about her day.
Her playful side has truly emerged recently. She adores any toys with ribbons and has developed quite the talent for peekaboo games. While she may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, Twiggy is absolutely convinced of her own cleverness during these play sessions where she’ll ‘shock’ you with surprise attacks.
She's becoming a very affectionate girl. Twiggy loves to hang out in the same room as you, following from space to space like a furry shadow, but she's also increasingly seeking out cuddles and attention. When bedtime arrives, you'll find her claiming her favourite spot at the foot of your bed, and she's discovered the joy of belly rubs – a sure sign of her growing confidence and trust.
With new people, Twiggy maintains her gentle, observant nature. She's still a bit shy initially, preferring to watch visitors from the hallway before making her approach, but she warms up relatively quickly once her curiosity takes over. Her true personality takes time to fully emerge, but it's worth the wait. She appreciates calm environments and can be startled by sudden movements or loud noises like vacuum cleaners.
As a bonus, Twiggy has been developing some handy household skills – she's quite good at catching any sneaky mice that might find their way indoors. She's also mastered the art of making biscuits, which she'll happily demonstrate on soft blankets or your lap.
Twiggy would thrive in a peaceful household with calm adults or families with older, respectful children who understand her gentle boundaries. She'd be perfectly content as an indoor cat and would do well either as a solo pet or with a gentle companion to play with. She brings warmth, conversation, and just the right amount of playful mischief to make any house feel like a true home.
